She attended and graduated dental hygiene school at Rutgers University in Newark in 1990, and then moved to Cary from Coral Springs, Florida in 2000. She has lived in Cary, NC for over 24 years with her husband, John and 2 children, Chris and Rebecca. She is fluent in Spanish.
