I grew up on a farm in Harrodsburg, Kentucky working alongside my five brothers and one sister. Inspired by my builder grandfather, I helped remodel the house, repair the barns, restore an 1890 farmhouse, and even study real estate (though, from the perspective of a builder).

After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I worked for thirty-seven years as an Optical Fiber Cable Designer for several global companies, and I am listed as inventor or co-inventor on thirty plus U.S. patents. My wife, who is a WCPSS high school teacher, and I have lived (and raised our two sons) in Cary, North Carolina since 1997.  My oldest son now works with Cisco and my youngest son is an actor/writer in New York City.

Over time, my experience working in teams and my love for houses have fused together to form a genuine passion for real estate and helping people find their home. Moving can be a stressful experience and I want to help make it easier through my knowledge of the area and providing excellent service.
