Peter Assante
Peter Assante’s first experience with real estate occurred at the age of 19 on the
isle of Manhattan (NY) – 2009, right after the 2008 housing crisis (impeccable timing).
He developed patience, perseverance, a few ulcers and (oddly enough) a deep, deep
love for the profession of Realty. He went on to attend the University of Idaho obtaining
a B.S. in History as well as a commission in the United States Army via ROTC. Pete
traversed the U.S. for several years in the course of his military service, earning a
Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management towards the end of his tenure (he
then turned down multiple HR offers post-service after watching The Office, fearing he’d
turn into Toby). Mr. Assante harbors a grand vision for the greater Raleigh area as the
ultimate urban sprawl and deeply desires to play a key role in ensuring Sir Walter’s
namesake realizes its full potential, while remaining true to its roots. He enjoys playing
trad Irish music, drinking (and crafting) expresso, swimming, writing, reading, garage
sale-ing, and exploring Downtown Raleigh with a compass and map. He currently
resides in Cary (NC) with his wife and three children.
